Gyronimo Performance Pad - Cessna 150

The Gyronimo Performance Pad is an advanced electronic flight bag (EFB) designed specifically for the Cessna 150, featuring a fixed-pitch propeller and a Continental O-200-A engine, providing 100hp at 2750 RPM. This application enhances performance and mass balance calculations using real-time data from the Cessna 150 Pilot's Operating Handbook (POH).

Compatibility: Requires an iPad 3 or newer, or an iPad Mini Retina.

The Performance Pad facilitates rapid flight planning, allowing users to calculate and interpolate crucial performance data efficiently. This user-friendly interface presents immediate updates via high-resolution graphics, tailored for iPad screens.

• Mass & Balance Page:

  This section calculates Center of Gravity (CG), Moments, Takeoff Mass, and Zero Fuel Mass. Users can easily adjust person and baggage weights using sliders. The tool verifies CG limits utilizing three graphical displays: the Moment Envelope, the CG Envelope, and Aircraft Axis, along with a load manifest option for emailing.

• Takeoff Page:

  Utilizing data from the C150 Operating Handbook, this page computes Ground Roll and Landing Distance based on variables such as Aircraft Mass, Takeoff Elevation, Outside Air Temperature (OAT), and wind conditions. A Wind Components Computer assists in determining headwind or tailwind components by adjusting a user-friendly wind dial.

• Climb Page:

  This function calculates time, fuel consumption, and distance required for climbs based on differences in Takeoff Elevation and intended Flight Level, retaining all essential data inputs including OAT and wind effects.

• Cruise Page:

  This component determines optimal cruise altitude based on Trip Distance, Flight Level, Engine RPM, Temperature, Wind, and Altimeter settings while utilizing actual POH data.

• Landing Page:

  The Landing Page computes Ground Roll and Landing Distance considering similar parameters as the Takeoff Page. Wind Components calculations are also applicable here for enhanced accuracy.

• Stall Speed Page:

  This section assesses Stall Speed influenced by Bank Angle and Flap Settings, calculated as KIAS and KCAS according to POH specifications.

• Setup:

  Users can load and save up to five Aircraft Settings and Scenarios along with sending a Mass & Balance Summary via email. Additionally, tutorial videos are accessible for further assistance.

Mode Switch:

• Individual Mode: All calculations can be executed independently.
• Plan Mode: In this mode, results are forwarded to subsequent pages with an added Flight Summary Page for comprehensive performance planning.
